Gortat and Nelson have been the only bright spots

Nelson shot has been off but its normal coming from an injury.

The Lakers' supporting cast is one of the BEST in the league. What are you talking about?

Gasol, Odom, Ariza, Bynum>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Big Z, Williams, West, Varejao

The Lakers' bench is also one of the best in the league.

Yeah it is better, I don't think I said Cleveland's was better Laugh.gif

The Lakers' bench is no better than ours.

I thought you were comparing Cleveland to LA. The Lakers have one of the best benches in the league though.

I WAS comparing those two teams, but I WASN'T saying that Cleveland's was better. I don't think it's a huge gap between the two, but LA's is certainly better.

The Lakers' bench is nowhere near as good as Chicago's and is every bit equal to our bench.

Have you seen Odom in this game? He comes off the BENCH for the Lakers. He's playing like he's capable of playing and also guys like Walton, Farmar, and Brown are all solid. Orlando hasn't had much help from the bench besides some of Pietrus and Gortat. Actually Nelson has played solid but Tony Battie didn't do anything when he was in.

Well at least we are getting Finals experience here. Last year is obviously paying dividends for the Lakers right now.

Game 2 is the season. All we needed was the split anyways. Who cares about Phil's record after winning Game 1's, the Boston streak didn't bother us.

Its weird, but I dont feel as bothered or annoyed when Kobe hits a crazy shot like I did when Lebron would. Maybe its because I respect Kobe a hell of a lot more then Lebron

Agreed. I'll give this game up after the way we played to maybe "Finals jitters" or being on the "big stage" for the first time. However, if they come out and play like this on Sunday, then it will show we are just overmatched imo.

MP has played at that level and above all playoffs long, but just no showed tonight. He comes off of our bench. Walton, Farmar, and Brown are not any better than Battie, Redick, and injured Nelson. They played way over their heads tonight and their bench numbers still aren't special.

LeBron is not a shooter and he shot way over his head against us. Kobe can't drive as good as LeBron, but is a much, much better shooter.

Usually I think it's better to be blown out than lose on a last second shot. I don't feel that way right now Smile.gif We just look completely outmatched, but there's no way our guys no show like this again. This looks like one of those games after the Cleveland win in the regular season. We are just terrible after beating Cleveland this season.

One of the things that bothers me the most about tonight is this is the first time a lot of people have seen us play this year. We were embarrassed in the biggest stage in the world. This is not the Magic team we've seen this year. I don't know what this is, but this better be the least time it shows up.
