NBA FINALS: Magic vs. Lakers (Game 1), 6/4, 9:00 PM, Staples Center

Well, giving the fact that J.J. 5 or more minutes toward the end of the first game, it would be a must now.

Our defense was bad, but our offense was horrendous. JJ could help with that.

We need all the offense we can get so it wouldn't surprise me.

Well.....time to regroup for Sunday Night!

Kobe almost single handedly outscored our team in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters combined. Offense was the problem tonight.

and Defense?

How nice was is to have a well officiated game though? Hopefully that will continue.

Obviously, but we had 50 in the final 3/4 of the game. Offense was the bigger problem, no doubt. Now going forward, we have to worry about the defense because we just can't shoot that bad again.

The surprisng thing about this is......we played GOOD defense against Kobe. We actually did. Pietrus had some good defense on him for the most part but he's Kobe. That's why he's the best player in the world...

Magic had the open shots tonight. Just couldnt knock them down.

yeah i still think kobe s**ts all over lebron

14 years and still this is the mess Shaq left us with. I think that the team knows it won't take another sweep as their fate.

Excellent point. Our defense on everyone else was our problem, but yes the D on Kobe was every bit of good.

rafer needs to get more minutes, it threw off his rhythm and jameer did not play good at all in the 2nd half. it needs to be set that jameer gets the same minutes AJ was getting and rafer is getting the bulk of the minutes, this split minute stuff isnt gonna work

Don't give Rafer excuses. He played poorly because he did. He had open looks and couldn't knock it down. He's in the NBA. He should be hitting wide open jumpshots.
